What Defines Us

Safety, quality, and adherence to AISC standards are not departments or initiatives — they are the pillars of how Bowman Steel operates.

Our Safety Commitment

Safety is a core value — not just a priority — that guides every decision we make. We believe a safe working environment is essential to protecting our workforce, supporting our project partners, and ensuring the successful execution of every project. Our commitment to safety extends beyond compliance; it is embedded in our culture and reflected in how we plan, coordinate, erect, fabricate, and execute our work.

We operate with a safety-first mindset reinforced by a safety-first value. This means safety is never secondary to schedule, cost, or production. From preconstruction planning to site coordination and installation, safety considerations are fully integrated into our processes. We maintain rigorous safety protocols, provide comprehensive and ongoing training, and regularly review our procedures to align with industry best practices and project-specific requirements.

We recognize that safety is a shared responsibility across all project stakeholders. Effective safety performance depends on collaboration, communication, and alignment between our team and our partners. We encourage open dialogue and proactive involvement from owners, general contractors, fabricators, and trade partners to identify potential risks early and address them before they impact people or performance.
